History of Godwin

A small town with deep roots—this page can grow with photos and stories from residents.

Godwin is a small town in northeastern Cumberland County. Early settlement in the area included immigrants from Scotland. The community developed during the railroad era, and a post office was established in the late 1800s. Godwin was chartered in 1905.
